There would've been an outpour of picturesof the victim in every paper, news network or online source in the country, interviews with the poor parents as to how it happened and from the authorities as to what they're doing to catch these murderers. With a "crisis" this big, the media wouldn't be able to resist trying to be the first to report hard evidence of this happening (because, of course, that is what they do).
But still, nothing concrete's out there. It's just like the supposed serial killer roaming Rizal. It caused a massive scare in the province, but it didn't yield any real victims or actual reported incidents until it died down.
It has been known in some countries especially within Asia, where adults have been drugged and operated on overnight. Often lured to to drink and sleep with a young and lovely lady of the night.
Children are kidnapped all over the world, just check out the news (TV / Newspaper/ Internet).

In general, an underwriting syndicate is a group of investment banks that work with an issuer(city or state in a muni) to get the bonds out to the public. For an example if Atlanta, GA wants to sell muni bonds for a new school they will contact Goldman, JP Morgan and Citi to be in the syndicate. They will get together and figure out how much the city wants to make, and then they will either buy that many bonds or agree to get them sold. If they buy them from the city they will take them in to inventory and then try to sell them to investors. Lets say the 3 banks buy each bond for 85 from the city, they will turn around and sell them to the public for 95, and pocket the spread of 10 for taking the risk and doing the work. Otherwise, I suggest running it in windowed mode for a while, just to let the heavy graphics pass. Also found a few nifty fixes, check them in the source. How can I send my comic strip to a syndicate?
My comic is "Tara and John". It's about a female first grader who caught a python in a snake trap. I want to send my comic strip to United Feature Syndicate. How can I do that?How can I send my comic strip to a syndicate?
Nate, I can tell you from personal experience that the syndications seldom give any serious consideration to unsolicited material. Cartooning (or stripping as it is sometimes called) is a "dog-eat-dog" world. The syndicates get untold volumes of unsolicited material and they can pick and choose from what is sent to them.
With that said you might do this; start in a small market and try to get your work published in a local newspaper. (Even then it's going to be tough trying to get an editor's attention). It's best to make sure your work will appeal to a broad audience. The more readers you attract, the better the chances of success. If you do get syndicated expect some of your work to be returned for editing. Too, unless you are one of the artists at the top of the heap the syndication will hold control of the content of your strips and many times tell you what content they want in your strips. If your strips contain any wording and they don't like your lettering they might demand you hire someone skilled in that type of work. The syndication will expect you to stay several weeks ahead of the publication date of any particular strip (remember what I said about being returned for editing?).
If accepted for publication make sure your work meets the standards for printing and never (NEVER) miss a deadline. Missing a deadline more than once can be a real "deal-killer". If the editors tell you they want something changed, don't argue with them, just do it. Beginning strippers don't have much room to bargain. If you wind up refusing to cooperate, they can (quite readily) throw you under the bus. Expect to have strips returned for editing.
Only the creators of the top-rated, nationally known strips have much "wiggle room". Even then, it can turn into quite a battle: Sam Watterson, creator of the Calvin and Hobbs strip quit the business over the fights with newspaper editors and management in the syndication. (Notice there were no Calvin or Hobbs stuffed animals or other toys? Mr. Watterson didn't want his creation turned into a commercial circus.) Berke Breathed of Bloom County fame quit for about the same reasons. (I know, he's back with a weekly Sunday strip...according to what I've heard, he went bankrupt and had to return to cartooning to earn a living.)
In the beginning expect to be working seven days a week. It's not just whipping out something you like; publishers have certain standards that can often times be unmet by the artist. There may be a lot of your material returned for editing.
I would strongly suggest you become a frequent visitor to the larger bookstores and pick up books about cartooning. There are secrets that can enhance the readability of a strip such as placement of a character in any given panel of a particular strip right down to the arrangement of a characters arms, legs and head in order to lead the reader's eyes from one panel to the next. Positions, poses and size can ad zing to a strip and make it much more attractive to the reader.
I'm not trying to rain on your parade, but instead trying to tell you to buy the books, diligence,. hard work and perserverance will pay off. Just don't expect to be an overnight success.

They tell you that you can be shown as an relative of someone that died. There is money that you can get. So you answer and it goes on and on until you are told that a fee must be paid first to receive the money. If you pay the first fee, there another and another, etc. A couple of years ago I followed one along for about a month after I was contacted and finally let it go.
It was fun but still a scam. It is my belief that they have government employees in Nigeria that are part of it. And there are other scams that are centered in Nigeria. Hope this helped.

I think there's enough room in DC Comics for at least _one_ well-written villain book, you just have to pick the right people.
Catch is: Writing these characters. Making them good characters--as in compelling--while keeping to the "equal/opposite universe" theme. Most writers can't or won't pull it off--they're too busy making a joke out of it as per Bizarro World.
I'd personally like an _updated_ version of the origin story behind the CSA. Something along the lines of: They start out young, idealistic, and powerful....So where did their lives go so wrong? How did they _Not_ become heroes? Is their world just that sick and twisted--or were they themselves somehow responsible for everything being reversed/mirrored?
Basically do a Year Minus One take on them, before they become debauched and all Jersey-Shore-ish.
Edit 2: Have Brian Azzarello write it, maybe J. Scott Campbell do artwork--and do what _Smallville_ did with Lex Luthor, with the main cast. Start out with young, idealistic people and actually make people wonder "Ok, do they really _have to_ turn out so bad?" Do all my ribbons have to be on one Pokemon to get into the Ribbon Syndicate?
I definitely have more than ten ribbons, but it won't let me in.Do all my ribbons have to be on one Pokemon to get into the Ribbon Syndicate?
In Diamond and Pearl a Coordinator must have the master rank ribbon in all five categories to gain access while in Platinum the player must have at least 10 ribbons on the Pok茅mon in their party to gain access.

my Empoleon has at least 20 ribbons, but i think i got in with 15. i dont really remember, but just a forewarning, the Ribbon Syndicate is really dissapointing. all you can do there is buy gorgeous/royal/regal ribbons for 10,000/90,000/max money amount. i use an action replay so the money isnt a probem for me, but its really a waste of money anyways. also you can get a pokemon massage, which is supposed to make it friendly, but i just feed them berries. hope this helps. and if you want an easy master rank contest ribbon, use kangaskahn, with a certain moveset i can pwn all four ranks for quick ribbons. ;)

After seeing some of the other answers for this question, i knew i had to answer it correctly. I have entered the ribbon syndicate myself due to the fact i have the game and the guide.
This is how to do it
Get 10 ribbons on 1 Pokemon. They cannot be spread around your team. It must be just 1 Pokemon (i used my Rampardos).
You can get ribbons from winning contests, but that is very hard. Here are some other ribbons that might help:
Footstep Ribbon - make your pokemon happy
Effort Ribbon - make you pokemon powerful and use it a lot
Classic Ribbon - this comes on an event pokemon. If you get an event pokemon try giving that one lots of ribbons. That would mean you would only need 9 more instead of 10.
Hall of fame ribbon - if you defeat the elite four, you pokemon who helped you win the elite four gets a ribbon.
Hoeen hall of fame ribbon - if you pal park a ribbon collecting pokemon, if that pokemon had a hoenn elite four ribbon, that contributes to the 10 ribbons.
